Son of the late Joseph Antoine Rivere, Sr. and Carrie Agnes Thibodeaux Rivere. Brother of George Rivere, Patricia Landaiche, and the late Carrie Ann Thomassie, Joseph Rivere, Jr., Kenneth (Hoppy), Doris Barattini, and Dorothy Rivere. Father of Lloyd (Chico) Rivere, Jr. (Kami), Joyceann Prestenback, and Michael Prestenback. Grandfather of Jennifer Levert (Scott), Daniel Alario, III, Jonathan Alario, David Alario, Meagan Jolicoeur, Matthew Rivere, Kade LaBorde, and Kamryn Rivere. Great-grandfather of John, Gabriel, Gabriella, and Katherine. Age 62 years and a resident of Bridge City, LA.
