Loann Gallicio Ledet

Loann Gallicio Ledet was called to Heaven on June 26, 2015. She won a courageous battle with cancer, but was taken too early at the age of 55 with various illnesses. She was a devoted wife and loving mother. She will be sadly missed by her husband, David P. Ledet, Sr. whom she adored and cherished. Her wonderful children, David P. Ledet, Jr., Paul D. Ledet and Lauren M. Ledet whom she treasured and loved from the bottom of her heart. Big Dave, Dave Jr, Paul and Lauren gave her the strength and a reason to live. Mother-in-law of Brandy D. Ledet. Devoted mother figure to Christian P. Chavez and Courtney T. Groue. Mami to Savannah R. Ledet and Logan M. Ledet. Her grandchildren were the light of her eyes. She was preceded in death by her Father, Loy Anthony Gallicio, Sr. She is survived by her mother, Thelma Wattigney Gallicio. Sister of Tami G. Scherer, Lori G. Dawson, Loy Gallicio, Jr. and the late Glenda Ledet Hawley. Sister-in-law of Curtis J. Ledet, Sr., Bryan Scherer, Michael Dawson, Sr., Christy Gallicio, Wesley Hawley, Randy Ledet, Lydia Ledet, Mark Dunn and the late Lori Ledet Dunn. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Shirley Harding Ledet and Wiley Joseph Ledet. Nana to Curtis Ledet Jr., Nicole Ledet Gossell, Bryana Scherer, Melanie Dawson Mynes, Michael Dawson Jr., Christopher Hawley, Ryan Hawley, Melissa Ledet, Jeremy Gossell, Jennifer Clesi, Matthew Mynes, Gage Hundley, Cameron Gallicio, Colby Gallicio, Julian Ledet, Penelope Gossell, Sophia Gossell, Josephine Gossell, Isabelle Gossell, Gabrielle Gossell, Emily, Olivia and Alexis Mynes. Aunt of Jason Ledet, Crystal Ledet, Ashley Ledet Dozier, Crystal Dunn and Chad Dunn. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 9AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
