Lois Marie Blanchard

Lois Marie Cantrelle Blanchard entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at the age of 79. Daughter of the late Marie Barrois and Alcide Joseph Cantrelle. Sister of the late Dorothy Giordano. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ivy P. Blanchard, Jr.; her children, Dianne (Dee), Michael, Dennis, Cynthia (Cindy), Patricia (Pattie) and Ivy III (Buddy). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Veronica, Charlotte, Gregory, Melissa, Danette, Ronald, James, Caleb, Zachary and Michael; her great grandchildren, Julia, Jacob, Brandon Tyler, Jordon, Anthony, Ricky, Ronald (BeBe), Brandon Lee, Stephen, Ronald Raymon, Michael, Joseph, Breanna, Daniel, Drew, Shelby, Keirsten, Dakota, Jimi, Jr. and many nieces and nephews. She was a native of Cut Off, LA and a resident of Belle Chasse for most of her life. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Flannery Oaks Guest House and Doctor’s Hospice for their love, care and compassion for Lois. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Highway 23, Belle Chasse, LA on Thursday, February 23, 2012 from 10AM until 12 Noon. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Thursday at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, Belle Chasse, LA.
