Lois Bruney Blanchard

Lois Bruney Blanchard, born April 17, 1929 entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 5, 2014 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Hershal Robert Blanchard for 56 years. Daughter of the late Benjamin Bruney and Eva LaFrance Bruney. Loving mother of Betty Boechler (Michael) and Aline Tate (Roy). Beloved grandmother of Amber Tate (Cody Guidry), Camille Boechler and Davis Tate. Sister of the late Benjamin Bruney, Lloyd Bruney, Rita Davis and Gloria Timmons. Lois is a native of Algiers, LA and a longtime resident of Gretna, LA. She resided in Belleville Assisted Living Center in Algiers for the last 18 months. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 10AM until 1:30PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:30PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
