Lois Sisung Kliebert

Lois Sisung Kliebert passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, September 16, 2024 at the age of 95. Lois was born in Gretna, LA to the late Joseph B. Sisung and Mildred J. Sisung. Beloved wife of the late Lester J. Kliebert. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen “Kit” Payne and her son Lester J. Kliebert, Jr. She was a very devoted grandmother of Lester J. Kliebert, III and Kyle M. Payne. Mother-in-law of Gary D. Payne and Gaynel D. Kliebert. Sister of Joy Hepting, Bernard Sisung, Gail Sisung, Dennis Sisung, Gerald Sisung and the late Shirley Poole. Lois spent her married life in River Ridge and then moved to Marrero, LA later in her life. She found joy in cooking and baking, often sharing with family and friends. Her home was always graced by a beautiful garden, a reflection of her care and love for nature. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 1:30pm. Visitation will be held Friday morning from 11:30am until 1:30pm. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
