Lois Cognevich Lee

Lois Cognevich Lee passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Paul V. Lee. Mother of Jane Broussard (Paul), Joellen Lee, Janet Vullo (Sullivan). Daughter of the late Leona Tullier Cognevich and Dewey Cognevich. Sister of Alice Scandurro and the late Retsy Cognevich. Grandmother of Marc and Brent Broussard, Aimee Treadaway, Jeff Kudla, Colleen Arceneaux, Allison Taliancich, Andrea and Sullivan Vullo Jr. Also survived by 19 great grandchildren. She was a retired librarian for the Plaquemines Parish Schools and a lifelong resident of Nairn, LA. She was a devout Catholic and was honored to receive the Order of St. Louis Medallion. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Ann Catholic Church, Empire, LA on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 11am. Visitation will be held at the church from 9am until 11am. In lieu of flowers, masses are preferred or donations in her memory may be made to St. Patrick or St. Ann Catholic Church.
