Lois Woods Norris passed away on May 26, 2014 at the age of 80 years. Beloved wife of the late Bill Norris. Mother of Bill Norris Jr. (Sue), Kristen Norris (Kathy), Diane Norris Miller (Gerald), Joyce Norris Chambers (Ronnie), Donna Norris Davis (Ricky), Christine Norris Chauvin (Corky) and Kimberly Norris Sonnier (Patrick). Grandmother of Natalie Palmisano (Daniel), Valerie Miller, Ron Chambers Jr., Tessi Chambers, Jack Chambers, Jeremiah Istre (Alicia), Felix Caban, John Caban, Melissa Chauvin Hamilton (Lonnie), Jennifer Chauvin, Jarrod Norris (Jenny), Brandy Norris Calcote (Brent), Brock Sonnier, Bryce Sonnier and Jacob Norris. Great-grandmother of Amber Chambers, Emma and Nathaniel Palmisano, Dawson and Travis Calcote, Emily, Trinity and Hailey Istre, Lonnie III and Everett Hamilton, Jasmine Caban, Kyle and Desiree Norris, Zoe Adams, Dawson and Devin Morgan and Gabe Caban. Sister of Jean Neal (Dwight), Leon Woods (Joy), Ralph Woods, Donny Woods, the late Earl, Violet and Shirley Woods. Daughter of the late Walter and Mildred Woodland Woods. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.
She was a member of the “All About Sewing” group, was a talented quilter and embroiderer and cake decorator.
