Loraine Jane Haynes on Monday, January 14, 2013 entered into her eternal rest. She was born September 23, 1924 in Cushing, Oklahoma and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Beasley. She was a resident of Spring Hill, Texas when she married her beloved husband, Charles E. Haynes. She is also survived by his loving children, Charles N. Haynes (Grace) of Gretna, LA, Stephen Haynes (Jenny) of Dripping Springs, TX, and Evalee Rushing (Kevin) of Gilmore, TX. Grandmother of Chad Haynes (Stephanie) of Tyler, TX, Charles (Flex) Wheeler (Tiffany) of Conroe, TX, Aaron Haynes of Tyler, TX, Philip Haynes of Tyler, TX and Veronica Jane Wheeler of Pittsburg, TX. Great Grandmother of Oliver Wheeler. Sister of Fredeva Taylor (Dale) of Granbury, TX and the late Margaurette Luquette and Dr. William (Bill) Beasley. She was also loved by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Haynes graduated in the first class of Spring Hill High School as Salutatorian and enjoyed being in the third year (1942-1943) Kilgore College Rangerettes. She spent 32 years in public education as a secretary, assistant personnel director and administrative assistant. 30 years were spent in the Corpus Christi Independent School District. Mrs. Haynes enjoyed her hobbies as an accomplished artist painting in oil and being an avid golfer with her husband. Her second passion was traveling and sharing time with friends and family. She was an active member of the Holy Trinity Community Church where she served faithfully on the session and administrative boards until moving to Gretna, LA. A private memorial service is planned at a later date.
