Loretta Leake Chandler passed away after a 5 year struggle with kidney disease. Loving wife, mother and grandmother. Survived by her husband of 55 years to Ronald William Chandler (Gretna , LA) owner of Ronnie’s Westside Pest Control. Mother of Barry Chandler and spouse Lisa of Houston , TX , Brian Chandler and spouse Anna of Harvey , LA , Carol Chandler Polkey and husband Jesse of Carriere, MS and the late Glenn Chandler and spouse Marlene Sarah. Sister of Elaine Leake Hepting, William Leake, Jr., Hannah Leake Walker and Alvin Leake. Grandmother of Chaz Chandler (Brian), Hunter Chandler (Barry), Bryce Chandler (Brian), Madeline Chandler (Barry), Ronald Chandler (Brian), Dylan Polkey (Carol) and Brianna Chandler (Brian). Great grandmother of Chasidy Chandler (Chaz).Loretta is preceded in death by her parents William Leake and Esta Orgeron Leake and in laws Ignatius Chandler and Emma Gegenheimer Chandler. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a Funeral Service in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 10 AM. Interment to follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 7 PM until 10 PM and resume Friday from 9:30 AM until funeral time.
