Loretta Louise Ballay Pelas, age 89 entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 1, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Clifton “Red” Pelas. Mother of Gail Pelas Petrovich (Husband Rudy). Grandmother of Troy (Wife Karla) and Tory (Wife Marcie). Great Grandmother of Cody, Cole, Brady and Cacie. Daughter of the late Stephen Ballay, Sr. and Marie Demandre Ballay. Sister of Pauline Ballay Planchard and the late Corrine Ballay Stockfelth, Vivian Ballay Granich and Stephen “Buddy” Ballay, Jr. She was a lifelong resident of Nairn, LA and lived in Jesuit Bend, LA for the past 7 years. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the Doctors and Staff of Riverbend Rehab and Nursing Home for their care given to Loretta. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church in Port Sulphur in memory of Loretta. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Highway 11, Port Sulphur, LA on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 from 10:30AM until 11:30AM.
