Loretta Mayeaux Plaisance on Friday, November 29, 2013. Beloved mother of Darlene Smith (Claude), Cindy Folse (Randy), Gary Recotta, the late Tamara Plaisance and Darissa Recotta. Sister of Gary Mayeaux and Harrison “Butch” Mayeaux. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Ema Lee Ashworth and Curtis Joseph Mayeaux. Age, 76 years. A resident of the Westbank for many years. Mrs. Plaisance was the proprietor of Lou’s Lounge, Bridge City for more than 30 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 11 AM. Interment, Restlawn Cemetery, Avondale, LA. Parlors will be open Thursday December 5, 2013 from 6 PM until 9 PM and again Friday from 8 AM until 11 AM.
