Lorraine Cureau Lagarde

Lorraine Cureau Lagarde, a member of the Christ the King Church Community and 46 years resident of Terrytown, LA died Wednesday, June 5, 2013 of natural causes. She was 88 years old. Beloved wife of the late Charles Lagarde, Sr. and sister of Fredrick and the late George Cureau. Lorraine was the mother of Lorraine Lagarde Burgdahl and Gregg Lagarde. Grandmother of Brittni and Michelle Lagarde. Stepmother of Jude Lagarde, Carmelite Galyen, Bernadette McHugh, Charles Lagarde, Jr. and Adele Flake. Grandmother of 13. The family wishes to thank her caretakers, Laura and Chique and the staff of St. Luke’s Nursing Home, Algiers.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Monday, June 10, 2013 at 11 AM. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Parlors will be open Sunday, June 9, 2013 from 6 PM until 9 PM and again Monday from 8 AM until 11 AM.
