Lorraine Louise Romano

Lorraine Louise Barry Romano, a former religion teacher of 25 years at St. Cletus and Holy Spirit Catholic Churches, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2016 at the age of 85 years.
She was the beloved wife of Joseph G. Romano for 65 years. Mother of Guy Romano, Catherine Romano and Lori Romano. Daughter of the late Marie Antoinette and Frederick R. Barry. Granddaughter of the late Louise Mackling Barry and Frederick William Barry. Sister of the late Frederick Raymond Barry II.
A native of New Orleans, she moved to the Westbank in 1973 where she resided ever since. She was also a former long-time member of the Silver Steppers Dance Troupe and Southern Belle Wives' Club. Relatives and friends of the family, former religion students, members of Bell South Pioneers, and fellow Silver Steppers, are invited to attend visitation from 11:00 am and Funeral Mass beginning at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Friday, January 15, 2016.
