Lorraine Chiasson Strong

Lorraine Margaret Chiasson Strong passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at her residence. She was 92 years of age. Daughter of the late Joseph and Adele Boudreaux Chaisson. Beloved wife of the late Otto Strong. She is survived by two daughters, Hedy Clark and Janice Guidry; sister-in-law, Myrtle Chaisson; three grandchildren, Russell Bernos (wife Elyse), Laurie Cummins (husband Matt) and Gary Guidry; two great-grandchildren, Taylor Bernos and Matthew Cummins; former son-in-law Larry Bernos and was preceded in death by her grandson Brett Clark. Sister of the late Octavia Doyle, Josie Klaus, Norris Chaisson, Joyce Burlet, Thelma Strong and Eunice Chaisson. A special thanks is extended to Ada Vincent and Becky Hart for their support and to Egan Hospice for their compassionate care of our Mom. She was a resident of Westwego, LA for the past 12 years, formerly of Algiers, LA for 66 years. Relatives and friends and employees of Joly’s Metal Works and Coburn’s Plumbing Supply are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, February 24, 2012 from 9 AM to 11 AM.
