Lottie M. Wilson

Lottie M. Wilson entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Robert W. “Bob” Wilson. Daughter of the late Leon Melancon and Dena Gautreau Melancon. Loving and devoted mother of Lee Wilson (Wife Linda). Grandmother of Craig Wilson, Kayne LeBlanc (Husband Scott) and Kurt Wilson (Fiancé Beth Wilde). Great Grandmother of Katherine LeBlanc and Allison LeBlanc. Sister of the late Leland Melancon. Lottie was a lifelong resident of Algiers, LA. She was an avid lifelong member of the American Legion Algiers Post 218 and member of 8 & 40. The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to the staff of Concerned Care Hospice and Penny’s Sitting Service especially Danita Weber and Winnie Boyd for their love and care given to Lottie. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette Street, Algiers, LA on Sunday, July 14, 2013 from 6PM until 9PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Monday, July 15, 2013 from 10AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1PM. Interment will be in McDonogh Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
