Louis Joseph Guccione, Jr. entered into eternal rest on June 28, 2021. Beloved husband of Joy Anderson Guccione for 59 ½ years. Father of Michael Guccione and Greg Guccione. Grandfather of Caitlin, Emma, and Allison Guccione. Son of the late Louis Guccione, Sr. and Josephine DeLuca Spera. Brother of the late Salvadore Guccione. Step-brother of Judy Claverie (Roy) and Jackie Ladd (J.C.). Uncle of Steven Guccione. Age 82 years and a lifelong resident of Algiers, LA. Louis attended Holy Name of Mary High School where he played basketball, baseball, and was a star football player. He spent his career with the Whitney Bank until retirement. In his spare time, he coached youth sport leagues and played intramural baseball and basketball for many years. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Gretna, LA on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 1:30 PM.
