Louis Francis Valdin, Sr.

Louis Francis Valdin, Sr. passed away on July 9, 2012 at the age of 85 years. Beloved husband of Dorothy Bordelon Valdin. Father of Louis F. Valdin, Jr. (Robin), Michelle V. Lirette (Curren) and Henri J. Valdin (Margaret). Grandfather of Lauren Womack (Troy), Amanda, Heather and Monique Valdin, Steven and Andrew Lirette. Brother of Guyton H. Valdin (the late Phyllis) and the late Miller Valdin (the late Rose). Son of the late August and Grace Esther Miller Valdin.
As a veteran of the U.S. Army, Louis served his country in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He later retired as a Sales Representative with Sears-Roebuck after 42 years of service. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 from 9 AM to 11 AM.
