Lift up your hearts and share with me, God has set me free to enter the gates of heaven. Lucia Parr Bischoff passed away peacefully on Friday, January 31 at the age of 88. Lucia was born on May 16, 1925. Lucia was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and recently great grandmother and friend to many. She was a resident of Gretna, Louisiana and a native of Lockport, Louisiana. She is survived by one son Keith Bischoff and his wife Beleta, one granddaughter Kori Bischoff Versaw and her husband Eric, a great-granddaughter Lena Catherine Versaw, brothers-in-law Edward Bischoff and wife Edna, Emile Bischoff and wife Gerri, sisters-in-law Elaine Toups, Agnes Dupuy and husband Robert and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Edward Bischoff, Jr.; parents Paul and Octavia Parr; brothers Noah and Norman Parr; and sisters Beulah P. Guidroz, Nora P. Dufrene, Wilma P. Chauvin and Edith P. Gautreaux. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, February 3, 2014 from 9:30AM until 11:30AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11:30AM. Interment will be in Westlawn South Cemetery, Belle Chasse Highway and Wright Avenue, Gretna, LA.
