Lucia Marie Cortez Rodrigue passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2016 at the age of 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Edmond Jean Rodrigue, Sr. Mother of Florence Aline Stephens (Jackie McGarity) and the late Edmond Jean Rodrigue, Jr. Daughter of the late Florence and Marclien Cortez. Sister of Louisiana Scioneaux, Lisa Boudreaux, Louis and Pete Cortez and the late Lucille Allemand, Lucrece Page, Lucien Cortez, Lucette Madere, and Felicien Cortez. Grandmother of Clark Joseph Barrios, Jr. (Lori), and Troy Joseph Barrios (Alison). Great Grandmother of Emily Chandler. She was a native of Vacherie, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA for the past 71 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Marrero, La on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 1pm. Visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA from 9am until 12:30pm. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
