Lucille Ann Cook Lindsey

Lucille Lindsey, born in New Orleans, LA on June 28, 1942, entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at the age of 84 surrounded by family. Lucille lived in Marrero, LA.

She is the beloved wife of the late Ralph W. Lindsey and her first husband, the late Gene Ducote. The cherished daughter of the late Carl Cook and the late Lucille Frank Cook. The loving mother of the late William J. Ducote (Janelle), Antoinette Ducote and Therese Hall (Jeff) and stepmother to Ralph W. Lindsey, Jr, Patricia P., Lorraine Johnson and Barbara Lindsey. The sister of the late Carl Cook, Jr, the late Margie Flats, the late Odell Spragg and the late Edith Burton. The loving grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived my many nieces and nephews. 

She was a member of Westbank Baptist Church and the Jefferson Parish Health Unit for 19 years. She loved to go the casino and play bingo. 

Her funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 5th at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am to 11:00 am, and the funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. Interment to immediate follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, Avondale, LA.
