Lucy Bourgeois Kass Bouvier on Friday, June 7, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Richard Bouvier. Loving mother of Keith Bouvier (Janet) and Ken Bouvier (Debbie). Grandmother of Jodie Torano (Manuel), Kristen Griffin (Corey), Jackie Bouvier (Roddy), and Kimberly Matherne (Joel). Also survived by 8 great grandchildren. Sister of Alice Perrin and the late Eva Hebert, Rita Guidry, Vivian Perkins, Estelle Ledet, Ella Eschette, Wiles Bourgeois, and O’Neil Bourgeois, Jr. Step sister of the late W.A. Kass, III. Daughter of the late Cecelia Autin and O’Neil Bourgeois, Sr. Foster daughter of the late Amelia and W.A. Kass, Jr. Age, 83 years. A native of Raceland and a resident of Westwego, LA for 80 years. Mrs. Bouvier was a lifetime active member of Westwego VFW Post 6793 Auxilliary and a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church, Westwego, LA.
Relatives and friends of the family also members of the above named organizations and employees of the City of Westwego, Westwego Vol. Fire Dept., Gretna Police Dept., Monsanto and New Orleans EMS are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 11 AM. Interment, Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum, Westwego, LA. Parlors will be open Friday, June 14, 2013 from 6PM until 9PM and again Saturday from 8AM until 11AM. The family wishes to specially thank the staff of Wynhoven Nursing Home for their care and compassion.
