Lucy Strange Pearce passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the age of 38 years. Beloved wife of Edward Pearce, III of South Carolina. Daughter of the late Sue Collier Strange and Curtis Edward Strange. Beloved and devoted mother of Jarett W. Chastant (his father Dennis W. Chastant) and beloved and devoted step-mom of Chandler Pearce. Sister of Ginger Gill, Karen Drone (Joel), Mary Rourke (Ronnie), and the late Brenda Hart and Curtis Perry Strange (Janice). Daughter-in-law of Pete and Edward Pearce, Jr. Childhood and best friend of Alicia Steadman. Cousin of Chris Guidry, Elizabeth Baron (Pablo), Brittany Strange, Christopher, Christy, Cameron, Chase and Savannah Guidry. Lucy is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other cousins and relatives and friends. She was born in Jefferson Parish; resided on the Westbank and recently resided in South Carolina. She pursued a 20-year career in Property Management. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 6PM until 8PM.
