Lynda Coles Bishop

Lynda Coles Bishop passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on the evening of October 31, 2022, at the age of 78. She was born in New Orleans on June 10,1944 to Richard Henery Coles and Antonina (Lea) Silvestri.
Lynda is survived by her loving daughters, Angie Miserendino (Giuseppe), and Shannon Slocum (Ray). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Alexandra, Ryne, Abby, Haley, Taylor, and Jenna, as well as her great grandchild, Demi.
Lynda is preceded in death by her parents, Richard Henery Coles and Antonina Silvestri, and her sister, Peggy Lee Coles.
Lynda was born in St. Bernard parish, where she lived most of her adult life. She spent her last few years living in Gretna, La. She was at her happiest spending time with her family and relaxing watching Tik-Tok videos. Lynda was known affectionately as “MeMaw” to everyone, not just her grandchildren. She never met a stranger and Lynda will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.
