M. Evelyn Reynolds Shepherd

M. Evelyn Reynolds Shepherd passed away on July 4, 2015 at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late John K. “Jack” Shepherd, Sr. Mother of Zebbi Fried (Harry Billiot), Sandra Daigle (Rod) and the late Pixie Naquin (Tommy). Grandmother of Angelice, Brian, Jason and the late Nikki. Great-grandmother of Thomas, Nick & Jack, Sarah, John and Elizabeth. Sister of the late Nimrod Reynolds. Daughter of the late Frank James Reynolds and Ruth Mae Wyles Reynolds. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Evelyn was very talented and expressed herself through her paintings, gardening and music as a pianist. As a staunch Saints and LSU fan, she followed the teams with excitement and enthusiasm. Evelyn enjoyed spending time with her friends, especially her ladies group in Folsom but was devoted to her family. She was a dedicated and affectionate mentor to her daughters and her family. While she will be sadly missed, her life will be celebrated.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette St., Algiers, LA on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 9 AM to 11 AM. Funeral Services will follow.
