Mabel P. Schrieffer entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 22, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Harold P. Schrieffer, Jr. Mother of Harry Schrieffer (Deborah), Lynn S. Baldwin (Charlie), Gail S. Williams (Jan) and Donald “Opie” Schrieffer (Reggie). Grandmother of Casey (David), Kerry (Kevin), Jacob (Sarah), Jamie, Mary, Chris (Paula), Brian (Donna), Katie and Scott. Great Grandmother of 7 and Great Great Grandmother of 1. Daughter of the late Eddie and Aline Plaisance. Sister of the late Doris, Grace, “Bubbie” Jr. and Elaine. Sister-in-law of Richard Schrieffer (Janice) and the late Howard Schrieffer. Mabel is also survived by her childhood friend, Ruth Walker. Relatives and friends, also former parishioners of St. Julian Eymard Catholic Church, residents of the Landing, American Legion Auxiliary Post 218, Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court #2165 are invited to attend a visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette Street, New Orleans, LA on Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 11:30AM until 1:30PM. A Catholic Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1:30PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
