Marguerite "Maggie" Broussard, on July 28, 2013 at 8:00 A.M. age 99. A native of Abbeville, La. She resided 63 years in Port Sulphur, La. and was a resident St. Clare Manor in Baton Rouge, La. for the last 7 years. Maggie's spirit will live on in the hearts of her large family. Maggie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Murphy Leon Broussard. She is survived by her daughters, Rillian Dobson (the late Ernest Dobson, Sr.); Ethlyn Holder (Wilburn); son, Roland "Jimmy" Broussard (Gail): brother Paul Bergeron. Also survived by 12 Grandchildren, Vickie Kramer, Christine Guilbeau, Tommy Dobson, Eileen Wilcox, Ernest Dobson.Jr., Ellen Barrois, Keith Holder, John Holder, Timmy Holder, Jimmy Holder, Brian Broussard and Ricci Hebert, 24 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmond Xavier Bergeron , Louise Hardy and by her siblings Jeanne Bergeron, Mable Campbell, Mazie Landry, Namez Boudreaux, Harry Bergeron, and Xavier Bergeron, Jr. Maggie was a member of the St. Ann Altar Society and the Rosary Group of St. Patrick Church in Port Sulphur, La. and the Plaquemines Parish Council on Aging. Relatives and friends of the family, also Staff of St. Clare Manor are invited to attend visitation from 9:30 am until mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Port Sulphur, La. on Wednesday, July 31,2013. In lieu of flowers, masses preferred. Interment to follow at St. Patrick Mausoleum.
