Malvin A. Faucheux

Malvin A. Faucheux, a native of Wallace, LA and a resident of Bridge City, LA passed away on Monday, October 6, 2014 at Azalea Estates Assisted Living Center in Gonzales, LA at the age of 93. He was a former Sergeant in the Army Air Corp during World War II and he retired from Continental Can Company. In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred. A visitation will be at St. Philip Catholic Church, 1175 LA 18, Vacherie, LA on Thursday, October 9, 2014 from 8:30AM until 10:30AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Philip Catholic Church on Thursday at 10:30AM with Fr. Vincent Dufrene officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum, Westwego, LA. Malvin is survived by his son, Jerry Faucheux of Fredericksburg, Texas; a grandson, Chad and wife Autumn and their children, Ellie, Parker and Ava; a grand daughter, Melissa and husband Kevin and their children Macy and Tyler. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Clarence Faucheux of Boutte, LA; Mabel Cazenave and Vivian Waguespack both of Vacherie, LA and Clifford Faucheux of Prairieville, LA. He is preceded in death by his wife, Marie Hymel Faucheux; two daughters, Donna Faucheux Danos and Debra Faucheux; and a daughter-in-law, Barbara Faucheux. He is also preceded in death by three brothers, Lewis, Lucien, Lynn and his sister, Enola. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA in charge of arrangements.
