Mamie Geraldine Rogers

Mamie Geraldine Rogers, born in New Orleans, LA September 22, 1942, and entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 14, 2025, at the age of 82. Mrs. Rogers lived in Marrero, LA.

Mamie was the beloved wife of 62 years to the late Andrew J. Rogers. She was the daughter of the late Bennie J. Baldassaro Sr. and the late Mabel May Rita Bernard Baldassaro. Loving mother of Faye Murphy (Gary) and Andrea Rogers (Michael Leblanc). Loving grandmother of Chad Murphy (Mary), Amy Cousins (James) and Nicole Roy (John). Adoring great grandmother of James Cousins, Jameson Thomas, McKenzie Murphy and Ruby Roy. She was the loving sister of Bennie J. Baldassaro Jr (Sandra) and Walter Baldassaro (Tanya).

A member of Infant Jesus of Prague Church, she loved to sing in the choir. Her passion was gardening and spending time with her family.

Her funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am to 11:00 am, and the funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. Interment to immediately follow at Gates of Heaven Mausoleum, 622 Ave A, Westwego, LA.
