Manuel L. (Buddy) Campo, Sr., a lifelong resident of St. Bernard, LA passed away on Monday, August 8, 2011 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of 18 years to Juanita Barbay Campo. Husband of the late Dorothy Latapie Campo by first marriage. Son of the late Sabastain Campo and Vivian Serigne Campo. Father of Ronald Campo (Wife Liz), Manuel L. Campo, Jr. (Wife Bridget), Randall Kliebert (Wife Judith), John Kliebert, Jr. (Wife Laura), Sharon Dodson (Husband Roy), Robin Waguespack (Husband Brent) and the late Geraldine Richerson (Survived by Husband, James). Grandfather of Steven Richerson (Wife Holly), Tina Richerson, Michael Wool (Wife Lindsey), Sean Wool, Manuel Campo III, Brandi Campo, Alexis Campo, Matthew Kliebert (Wife Ashley), Rani Kliebert, Holly Kliebert, Bobbie Maddox, and John Dubison (Wife Kelly). Great Grandfather of Cadence Wool, Colin Richerson, and Jacob Dubison. Brother of Beverly Welborn, Jack Campo (Wife Mary) and the late Hilda Guerra. Manuel was a Foreman with Shell Oil Company until his retirement. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of St. Bernard. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, August 12, 2011 from 10AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the funeral home on Friday at 1PM. Interment will be in St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery, Violet, LA.
