Marcella Gros Manfre passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Angelo Raymond Manfre. Mother of Loretta Vegas and Cheryl Arceneaux (Cornel). Daughter of the late Ursule Naquin Gros and Augustin Gros. Sister of Lawrence Gros, Verley Bulmer and the late Vivian Clement Landry and Marguerite Guidroz. Grandmother of Gregg Vegas, Candace Laplace, Chandler Arceneaux and Cathryn Arceneaux. Great grandmother of Ella Arceneaux, Caroline and Katelin Starns, Arlington, Amelia and Hayes Laplace. A native of Labadieville, LA and a longtime resident of Westwego, LA and most recent resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a Funeral Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 1 PM. Interment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be on Wednesday morning from 10 AM until service time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Muscular Dystrophy or ALS Foundation in memory of Marcella Manfre.
