Margaret B. Breaux

Margaret Barrilleaux Breaux peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the age of 92. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis A. Breaux, Sr.. She was the daughter of the late Wartel J. Barrilleaux, Sr. and Claire Naquin Barrilleaux. Loving mother of Donna Breaux Perez, Sharon Breaux Fields (Michael), Emile Breaux (Colleen), and the late Louis A. Breaux, Jr. (Leslie). Grandmother of Joseph L. Perez (Meghan), Scott Perez (Diamond), Nathan Fields (MeiKa), Dannon Fields, Emily Breaux, Sara Breaux and Camryn Breaux. Proud great grandmother to Joseph W. Perez, Ryder Perez, and Sydney Fields. Margaret is survived by her sister, Myrtle Barrilleaux Palmisano of Waxhaw, North Carolina and a host of nieces and nephews from her large Cajun family. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Wartel J. Barrilleaux, Jr., Rita Barrilleaux Becnel, Helena Barrilleaux Falgoust, Essie Barrilleaux Breaux, Dorothy Barrilleaux Rodriguez, Gerald Barrilleaux, and Elton Barrilleaux She was born in Labadieville, LA, and was a longtime resident of the Westbank. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA, on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 10:30 AM until 1:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home immediately after visitation has concluded.
