Margaret Tomashek Cuenca

Margaret Tomashek Cuenca, a faithful servant of our Lord Jesus, passed away on January 9, 2015 at the age of 83. She was the beloved wife of the late Carlos Cuenca, Sr. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She impacted many lives and will be dearly missed. Margaret is survived by her sisters Ruth Gordon and Pat Gwynn; her sons Carlos Cuenca, Jr. (Angela), John Cuenca (Shelly), Joseph Cuenca (Ann), Mark Cuenca, and her daughter Mary Cuenca; her grandchildren Emily, Elena, Aimee, and Joseph. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Carlos, her parents Joseph and Margaret Tomashek, her brother Vince Tomashek, and her sisters Marie Daley and Dorothy Moesch. She was a native of Shawano, Wisconsin, and was a resident of Gretna, Louisiana for many years. Nursing was her life's calling and she worked for many years at West Jefferson Hospital and Meadowcrest.
