Margarito Perez Olivares passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Ofilia Garza Olivares. Father of Dan Olivares (Narcedalia), David Olivares (Sheila), and Gina Olivares Gaudet (Leslie). Grandfather of Stacey Barbier (Kevin), Leslie Gaudet III (Jamie), Vincent Olivares, Cynthia Crowe (David), Jacob Olivares, Corey Gaudet, Marisa Olivares, and Marisa Gaudet. Great-grandfather of Cheyenne Gaudet, Allie Barbier, Princeton Gaudet, John David Crowe, and Mac Crowe. Brother of Yolanda Silva, Marcella Flores, Anita Castillo, Elia Alvarado, Paul and Firmin Olivares, and the late Eusebia O. Esparza, infant brother Jose', Jose’ P., Tiburcio, Lazaro, and Manuel Olivares. Mr. Olivares was a Veteran of the United States Army having been honorably discharged after two terms of service. He lived 84 years, and was a native of Skidmore, TX and a resident of Harvey, LA, where he was the proprietor of Olivares Car Care for 63 years. Relatives and friends of the Family are invited to attend the funeral service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey , LA on Monday, April 25, 2011 at 1 PM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery , Gretna , LA. Visitation will be Monday from 11 AM until 1 PM.
