Margery “Sis” Gomez Lewis entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Elmer E. Lewis. Daughter of the late Anthony G. Gomez and Viola Marie Oubre Gomez. Loving mother of Joan Lewis Kiletico (Husband Derril). Grandmother “Badee” of Melissa K. Guerrera (Husband Craig) and Jennifer K. Joubert (Husband John). Great Grandmother of Logan Guerrera, Alette Joubert and Zander Joubert. Sister of Gloria Bliss and the late Douglas Gomez and Lajoie Gomez, Sr. Margery is also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Simonson and Staff for their care and compassion given to Margery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 12PM until 1PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 1PM. Interment will be in McDonogh Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
