Margie Scott Alexie

Margie Scott Alexie went to heaven to be with her husband of 54 years, Leon, and children Connie and David, on December 30, 2022 at the age of 94. She is predeceased by her only son-in-law Steven Gulizo, her mother, Gladys Krewson, and siblings Loren Garrison, Sug Rodgers, Lenwal Garrison, and Harvey Garrison. Also predeceased by her nephew Arthur Rodgers and niece Catherine Garrison. Survived by her niece Judy Goins and nephew James Rodgers. Grandmother of Nico (Glenn), Shantelle (Patrick), and Christie (Aubrey). Also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, twins Nicolas and Savannah, Jude, Stevie, Gabriel, and Noah. Longtime friend of Iris Kelly and Odette Hebert. Margie loved to cook, bake, and garden.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA (Date and times will be provided)
Interment Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA.
