Marguerite Manning St. Amant

Marguerite Manning St. Amant passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the age of 92 years. Beloved wife of Altan F. St. Amant and of the late Frank Manning, Sr. by previous marriage. Mother of Marguerite Freeman (Sheldon), Carolyn Girard (Blackie), and the late Frank Manning Jr. Step mother of Bryan St. Amant and Lenai Boye. Daughter of the late Phillip and Augusta Schmitz. Preceded in death by 4 brothers and 5 sisters. Grandmother of Ray Tavan, Michelle Mahr, Vickie Perrin, Yvette Thomas, Sheldon Freeman, Jr. and the late John Tavan, and Frank Manning III, Ricky "Boo" Falcon. Also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA for the past 40 years. Relatives and friends of the family, also members of First Pentecostal Church of Marrero are invited to attend a Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 11am. Visitation will be held Wednesday morning from 9am until 11am. Interment will be in St. Patrick #1 Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.
