Maria Horta Alonso

Maria Ramona Horta Alonso passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Pedro Alonso, Sr. for 62 years. Loving mother of Elisa Canales (Homer), Juan Alonso (Isabel), Pedro Alonso, Jr. (Mayra) and Joel Alonso. Sister of Saturnina and Dora Horta, Jose, Evaristo, Juan Horta and the late Fermina Horta. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Daughter of the late Juana Santobeña Horta and Juan Horta. Age, 84 years. A native of Pinal Del Rio, Cuba and a resident of Westwego, LA.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation at El Milagro Church of God, 440 N. Dorgenois St., New Orleans, LA on Saturday, May 4, 2013 from 10 AM until NOON. The Funeral Service will follow at NOON. Interment, Lakelawn Park Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.
