Maria Ligia Caicedo entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Rafael Melguizo by first marriage and the late Giraldo Bauza by second marriage. Mother of Marta Melguizo, Gloria Melguizo, Juan Melguizo and the late Cylia Evans and Ligia Melguizo. Grandmother of Marcella Melguizo, Monica Evans, Ricardo Evans, Camille Melguizo and Hannah Melguizo. Also survived by 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Maria was a member of Jovenes De Corazon of Christ the King Catholic Church. She was born in Cali, Colombia and was a resident of Harvey, LA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 10AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
