Maria Margarita Zavala

Maria M. Zavala, age 87 entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 28, 2013. Beloved daughter of the late Maximo Zavala and Tomaza Figueroa Zavala. Beloved and loving mother of Maria Z. Bertot (Husband Walter) and Ceazer Zavala (Wife Julia). Sister of Rosinda Zavala and the late Sergio Zavala. Maria is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. She was born in Tocoa, Honduras and resided in Avondale, LA for the past 30 years. She was a Servant of Mary. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Maria’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 9AM until 12 Noon. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Providence Park Cemetery, Metairie, LA.
