Marie Foster Ballay passed away on January 28, 2013 at the age of 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Onezine A. Ballay. Mother of James F. Ballay (wife, Lula) and the late Claudia E. Ballay. Grandmother of Veronica B. Guidry. Great-grandmother of Eric D. Swallow. Great-great-grandmother Elise D. and Ethan D. Swallow.
She taught music at Archbishop Blenk High School for many years and was church organist and cantor at Holy Name of Mary and St. Andrew the Apostle. She also taught private piano lessons and she loved to travel.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Our Lady of Wisdom Health Care Center, 5600 Gen. DeGaulle Drive in Algiers on Thursday, January 31, 2013 from 9 AM to 11 AM.
