Marie "Mary" Ledet Frickey

Marie “Mary” Ledet Frickey passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late James M. Frickey. Mother of Barbara Breaux (Kenneth), Jimmy Frickey (Diana), and the late Marilyn Rome (Victor). Daughter of the late Arsene and Alice Ledet.  Sister of the late Clement, Andrew, and Edmond Ledet, Agnes Grabert, Cecile Boudreaux, Valerie Rodriguez, Therese Rolland, Archangel Larousse, and Ruby Frickey. Loving companion of the late Larry Vedros. She is survived by 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by one great grandchild. She enjoyed working in the garden, was a member of the Westwego Senior Center and loved being outdoors. She was a native of Thibodaux, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 146 Fourth Street, Westwego, LA on Monday, January 22, 2024 at 12noon. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 10am until 12noon. Interment, Our Lady of Prompt Succor Gate of Heaven Mausoleum.
