Marie Wilda Gonzales

Marie Wida Gonzales , a resident of Luling, passed away on November 2, 2014 at the age of 91. She was born on February 15,1923 in Kaplan, LA. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends.
She will be sadly missed by her two sons: Leonard (Jay) Gonzales Jr. and wife Beth Gonzales of Hammond and Larry Lee Gonzales Sr and wife Gwen Gonzales of Luling and brother: Ernest Breaux. Marie had 3 grandchildren: Larry Lee Jr. and wife Jonni Gonzales of Luling, Steven Gonzales of Wahington, DC, and Corey Gonzales of Hammond. Her two great-granddaughters are Bailee and Hannah. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Leonard John Gonzales and parents Joseph and Wilda Breaux Mire.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, November 7, 2014 from 9 AM to 11 AM. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery in Luling.
