Marie Barrilleaux Hernandez SOSM, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2011 at the age of 85. Wife of the late Lawrence Hernandez. Mother of Thomas Hernandez, Darlene Wingfield, Mary McKinnie, May Rumrill and the late Gail Ann Hernandez. Grandmother of Bill and Anne Wingfield, Tommy, Gail and Matthew Hernandez, Ryan and Scott McKinnie and Jason Bourg. Great-grandmother of Spencer and Claire Wingfield and Madison McKinnie. Daughter of the late Leo Barrilleaux and Marie Leonard Barrilleaux. Sister of Joan Plaisance, Annie Robichaux and the late Leo, Jessie and Arthur Barrilleaux, Yvonne Rodriguez and Malanie Arcement. A native of Labadieville, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Parishioner of Infant Jesus of Prague Church since 1960. She was a member of Golden Agers, Widows Support, Legion of Mary, Lazarus Ministry, Friends of Divine Mercy Secular order of Servite of Mary, Eucharistic Apostle of Divine Mercy, Living Rosary Association, and Our Lady of the Schoenstatt Rosary. Recipient of the order of the St. Louis Medallion. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Infant Jesus of Prague, Harvey, LA on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 11 AM. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland, LA. Visitation will be Friday at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA from 8:30 AM until 10:45 AM.
