Marie Lynn “Marilyn” Weigel Reine entered into heaven on Saturday, February 14, 2015 with her loving husband of 60 years Edward A. Reine, Sr. by her side. Survived by daughter, Judge Raylyn Reine Beevers (Wiley); son, Edward A. Reine, Jr; and grandchildren. Daughter of the late Clarence Eugene Weigel and Josephine “Fennie” Pasateri Weigel. A life long resident of Gretna. She was employed with the Jefferson Parish Clerk of Court's office for 39 years, serving as Supervisor of the Jefferson Parish Juvenile Court for 35 years. She was the first female certified Deputy Clerk for the Parish of Jefferson and the only Clerk of Court employee to work with all Juvenile Court Judges. Marie Lynn is known throughout the state and country for her active participation, with her husband, in his various Masonic affiliations. Relatives, friends of the family, and members of Alpha Phi Sorority, The Good Time Girls Red Hats, Theta Golden Age Club, Order of Eastern Star, William D. White Chapter 141, Scottish Rite Ladies, Social Order of the Beauceant, Shreveport Assembly #60, Italian-American Society of Jefferson Auxiliary, Gretna Historical Society and the German Heritage Cultural and Genealogical Society are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 610 6th Street, Gretna, LA.
