Marie Louise Bourdeu Smith

Marie Louise Bourdeu Smith, age 90 entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 6, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Eugene Smith, Jr. Daughter of the late Guillaume Xavier Bourdeu and Suzanne Marie Geoffray Bourdeu. Sister of Marie Therese Gardner and the late Louis Bourdeu, Paul Bourdeu and Jeanne Hutter. Marie Louise is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA. She was a member of Sultanas of Alhambra-Darro-29 and Archbishop Blenk Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. A visitation will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 6th Street, Gretna, LA on Saturday, June 14, 2014 from 9:30AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA in charge of arrangements.
