Marie Miceli Vanlangendonck passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at the age of 76. She was a native and lifelong resident of Algiers, LA. Beloved wife of 56 years to Frederick Joseph Vanlangendonck, Jr. Daughter of the late Alfred Joseph Miceli and Santa “Stella” Falcone Miceli. Mother of Annette V. Wilson (John) and Frederick “Freddie” Vanlangendonck, III (Lana). Grandmother of John and Lauren Wilson and Calli and Wyatt Vanlangendonck. Sister of Felicie M Blanchard, Rita Mae M Zeringue, Alfreda M Pierce, and the late Salvatore Joseph Miceli. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Marie graduated from Holy Name of Mary High School in Algiers and was a housewife. She will be greatly missed by all but never forgotten. She was a beautiful, loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother and mother-in-law with an outstanding personality and captivating smile. She lived for her grandkids giving them her constant undivided attention always providing them with the very best.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Holy Name of Mary, 500 Eliza Street, Algiers, on Friday, October 2, 2015 at 12:00 Noon. Visitation at the church from 9:00 am until funeral time. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Holy Name of Mary Church for repairs. Marie was cared for in her home until her death by her husband and caregivers.
