Marie “Audrey” Legendre Vicknair entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at the age of 71. Beloved wife of 40 years to Larry C. Vicknair. Daughter of the late Clemcy Legendre, Sr. and Lorena Robinson Legendre. Mother of Michelle Vicknair Reber (Husband Kenneth). Grandmother of Victoria “Tori”, Braxton and Kurtis Kinlaw. Great Grandmother of Bryson Mynatt. Sister of Elsie Legendre Chaisson Acosta (Husband Robert), Roy Legendre (Husband the late Marion), Morgan Legendre (Wife Dollie), Earl Legendre (Wife Eva), Edna Legendre Hicks (Husband Gordon) and Clemcy Legendre, Jr. (Wife Nellie). Audrey is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Avenue A and 4th Streets, Westwego, LA on Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 8AM until 10AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the church on Saturday at 10AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
