Marilyn C. McKinnie passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of the late James H. McKinnie. Mother of Dr. James J. McKinnie (Nancy) and Vincent A. McKinnie (Mary). Daughter of the late Vincent Cerniglia and Saraphine Cerniglia. Sister of Joseph Cerniglia. Grandmother of Jay, Ryan, Chris, and Scott McKinnie. Great Grandmother of Madison and Luke McKinnie. She was a retired Supervisor at the Jefferson Parish Clerk Of Court, a longtime parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Friday, February 26, 2016 at 1pm.
