Marilyn Yvonne Hall Moores

On November 13, 2023, Marilyn Yvonne Hall Moores left this life to live a better one. A lifelong Christian, Yvonne was born in Nashville, TN and moved to New Orleans, LA when she was young. She was the daughter of Virginia Grein and Robert “Bert” Miller and the step-daughter of Cliff Grein. She married Harry Hall, and they had six children: Chuck Hall, Jennie Pumilia, Robert (Jennifer) Hall, Jonathan Hall, Carrie (Loren) Wisehart, and Sherry (Robby) Marquette. Yvonne loved children. With Harry, they fostered five children, adopting one of them, Sherry. Yvonne’s heart and home was always open to whomever needed a hug or a meal. Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harry, her daughter Jennie, and her second husband, Ray Moores. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Kristi (Anthony) LeBlanc, Joe (RoseAnn) Pumilia II, Keith (Marie) Pumilia Jr., Corinne Hall, Robert Hall Jr., Jake Hall, Daniel Wisehart, Alison Wisehart, Hannah Wisehart, Joshua Wisehart, Brian Marquette, Sean Marquette, Timothy Marquette, and her great-grandchildren, Maddie LeBlanc, Brooke LeBlanc, Abby LeBlanc, Jennie Pumilia, Joseph Pumilia III, Michael Pumilia, and Benjamin Pumilia. There are many others who considered her a mother and grandmother, who loved her and will miss her greatly. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation at Mothe Funeral Homes, LLC, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA, 70058 on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 from 9:30 - 11:00 AM. They will then go to Westlawn Memorial Park, 1225 Whitney Avenue, Terrytown, LA, 70056 for a graveside service. For the past few years Yvonne’s son, Robert, made sure she had fresh flowers to enjoy on a regular basis. In lieu of flowers, if anyone would like to make a donation to one of the following places in Yvonne’s memory, the family would greatly appreciate it.
