Mario Jose Maurizio Parodi passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the age of 57. Beloved husband of Dr. Liliana Ivanjc Parodi. Son of Haydee Mejia de Parodi and the late Mario Parodi. Father of Maria Paola Parodi de Alvarado (Husband Luis), Clarissa Parodi and Christopher Parodi. Grandfather of Julian Alvarado Parodi and 1 expected granddaughter, Grace Parodi. Brother of Maria Jose Parodi Delagneau (Husband Jose), Noel Ernesto Parodi, Marco Tulio Parodi, Renzo Fulvio Parodi (Wife Ninoska), Claudio Francisco Parodi (Wife Carmen) and Mario Jose Parodi. Mario was born in Managua, Nicaragua and resided in Marrero, LA for the past 26 years. He graduated from Instituto Pedagogico de Managua, Nicaragua High School and Universidad De San Carlos de Guatemala, Guatemala City, Guatemala with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Husbandry. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 from 9AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Mario’s memory to any animal shelter.
